Refund policy
A report is digital content delivered right after payment. We want you to be satisfied, so we refund in these cases:
- Not delivered: the report did not appear in your account or the PDF would not open, and we could not fix it within 2 business days.
- Wrong property: you bought a report for the wrong address by mistake and tell us within 7 days, before downloading the PDF. We can also move the purchase to the right address instead.
- Duplicate purchase: you were charged twice for the same address.
- 5- or 10-report pack (Montréal or outside Montréal): refundable in full within 30 days only if no credit from the pack has been used. Once one report has been opened with the pack, the pack is no longer refundable, in whole or in part; the unused credits stay in your account and do not expire. If a credit went to the wrong address by mistake, tell us within 7 days and we give the credit back.
- Material error: the report attached records to the wrong lot. We will correct the report or refund it.
Because the report reflects public records, we do not refund because a record was missing from a public source, because the property’s situation changed after the report date, or because the findings were not what you hoped.
To ask for a refund, email bonjour@quebecdossier.com within 30 days of purchase with the address and the email you used. Approved refunds go back to the original card through Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days.
This policy does not limit the rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act (Quebec), including the right to cancel a distance contract in the cases the Act provides and to ask your card issuer for a chargeback where the Act allows it.
