Cookie policy
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We keep their use to a minimum.
Cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Keeps you signed in to your account | Strictly necessary | Until you sign out, up to 30 days |
| src | Remembers where you first came from (for example a search engine), so we can count sign-ups by source. Not shared with anyone | Functional | 30 days |
| pending | Remembers the address you wanted to unlock while you sign in | Strictly necessary | 30 days |
| g_state | Protects Google sign-in from forgery | Strictly necessary | 10 minutes |
| consent (browser storage) | Remembers your choice (accept or refuse measurement and advertising) | Strictly necessary | Until you clear your browser data |
| Stripe cookies | Set by Stripe on the checkout page to process payment and prevent fraud | Strictly necessary, third party | Set by Stripe |
| Google cookies | Set by Google only if you click to open Street View | Third party | Set by Google |
| Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads (_ga, _gid, _gcl_au and similar) | Measure visits and how well our ads work. Only if you click “Accept”; until then Google Tag Manager is not loaded | Measurement and advertising, third party | Up to 2 years, set by Google |
No measurement or advertising cookie is set without your consent, and no technology that identifies, locates or profiles you is turned on by default. Fonts are served from our own server.
Analytics
We count visits with our own cookieless statistics (see the privacy policy). If you accept in the cookie notice, we also use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking (Google LLC; data may be processed outside Quebec). If you refuse or do not choose, they are not loaded.
Your choices
You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop sign-in and checkout from working. Street View stays off unless you open it.
